pCornet Kornett – Rød
pCornet is the world’s first functional cornet made of plastic.
Although it is remarkably close in sound to the original, it is not intended as a replacement for classic brass instruments, but as an ideal tool for beginners, as a practice instrument when travelling or as a weatherproof alternative for gigging in rainy weather.
Easy to play.
If your child wants to play the trumpet but cannot yet hold the instrument properly and comfortably because of their height, the pCornet is the perfect alternative. The shorter design makes it easier to hold and it is much lighter than a traditional metal cornet. The advantages are obvious: the arms do not tire as quickly, playing technique and posture develop more quickly and better, and every grip on the instrument is simply more fun.
Progress that is fun.
Technically, there is no difference between the cornet and the trumpet. This means that all the skills acquired on the pCornet can be transferred one-to-one to the trumpet. Switch or stay, all options are open.
High value, low price.
The pCornet costs only about a third of the price of an average entry-level metal cornet. Everything you need is included: a bag for the way to lessons, rehearsals or concerts and two plastic mouthpieces (2B and 4B). And if needed, it is compatible with any standard cornet mouthpiece.
Uncomplicated.
Classical brass instruments are easily dented or otherwise damaged and require a lot of maintenance. The robust ABS body of the pCornet is extremely resistant to the challenges of everyday life, be it knocks, falls or the effects of the weather. And water is all that is needed for cleaning.
